How often can I refinance my home?

Answer:
Some lenders require “seasoning”
on your current loan before you can refinance. In other words, you must be in your current loan for a certain amount of time, usually anywhere from three months to a year before you can refinance your home.

If you are dealing only with mortgage lenders that do not require seasoning, you can refinance as often as you like. But constant refinancing doesn’t make much sense.

Each time you refinance your home, you are likely to pay origination and closing fees, which can range from several hundred to several thousand dollars. Even if rates drop, paying these fees on a regular basis will cost you more than sticking with your current home loan. You should only refinance when you intend to stay in the loan long enough to realize savings from the lower rate.

So to answer your question, it really depends on mortgage lender whether or not or how often they will allow you to refinance your home.
